Diagnostic tool recommendations C5 Aircross

Unread post by tightlinessteve »

Hello,
Apologies if this is a repeat question, but I have been looking around the forum and not found an exact answer. Could anyone advise on the best software/OBDII reader for my C5 Aircross 2019. I'd liked to change my rear brake pads and understand I have to cycle through a brake reset and I plan to change my gearbox oil and read that I have to reset the clock? I'm sure my list is endless!
I am used to using a VAG VSDC program with other cars, so something I can load onto my laptop would be fine.
Thanks.

I have moved this post here to the Diagnostics forum as you have a better chance of a response. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Main questions would be what’s your budget and are you wanting something for different makes & models or just PSA?
Most half decent diag tools now will do service procedures like putting EPB’s in service mode DPF regen etc.
Diagbox functionality will be limited on a car of this age without an online connection & subscription.
