Peugeot 508 2016 U1F41

Unread post by vimal246 »

Hi everyone

I’m having this error on my car after changing the battery. It’s the recommended battery being used. It’s a Peugeot 508 GT 2016 BlueHDI 180.

I had been using a low battery for 3 weeks before diagnosis of weak battery. Before changing the battery, I even had the dreaded B1624, I followed procedures for BSI reset for battery change and it did without affecting anything physically, but now I have this U1F41.

For those who might have some advanced knowledge I have attached 2 reports from DiagBox, one from the 15 April before the change when I got my VCI controller and the second one from the 19 April after changing the battery model used is A7 Varta AGM 760CCA.

Also is there any way to register the battery through DiagBox since it shows I have an Exide battery.

I have moved your post to the Diagnostics section where you have a better chance of getting help with Diagbox and fault codes. Good luck :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Seems to be a fault on the BPGA - did you reconnect all the wires in the right place? If so it probably needs a new one.

All the wires were reconnected properly.
