Hi. I was wondering if theres anyone who could supply the immobiliser code by vin for my van so i can program a key.. I’m happy to pay a fee. Main dealer wont give it out, just told me they would code it for me.
Thanks

We no longer have access to the VIN database but some members do and hopefully one of them may help you out.

Thankyou. I hope someone is able to. Main dealers are a nightmare and i begrudge paying the silly amount they want when i have the tool to do it

Key codes are only available from main dealers. I believe that even they dont have direct access, but request them from Citroen UK.
Try another dealer for the code, previously I have been charged just the amount that Citroen UK charges the dealer.

Some highish end diagnostic machines can extract the immobiliser code. Note that a Diagbox can't do this though.
Maybe a mobile key replacement service can do this for you although I'm sure they would want to sell you the ksy as well.

Re: Berlingo B9 Key code help.
An alternative approach is to take a working key to an auto locksmith and see if they can clone the immobiliser chip copied onto a new blank chip.
Even Timpsons claim to be able to do it (though not especially cheaply, £165 quoted for an aftermarket remote key)

Re: Berlingo B9 Key code help.
May be worth considering. Last Christmas my son dropped the key to daughter's C3. It would open and lock with the key blade but nothing else, wouldn't startit.
Called a mobile locksmith out who made a new key and programmed the fob with the lock/unlock code and also the immobiliser code that he extracted from the car.
£135. A lot less than expected.
While doing it he found that the circuit board had fallen out of the fob when it was dropped and of course my son had run over it with my car and it had been rained on.

Definitely try another dealer, they are just being awkward. Citroen dont actually charge the dealers per code, not for nearly 20 years anyway hence the reason why some dont charge for supplying the codesxantia_v6 wrote: 21 Apr 2026, 21:17 Try another dealer for the code, previously I have been charged just the amount that Citroen UK charges the dealer.
Depends on if you want a remote or not, only the chip can be cloned which is fine if you dont need a remote key. Cloning should be a last resort, best to program the key into the BSI.shtu wrote: 22 Apr 2026, 19:10 An alternative approach is to take a working key to an auto locksmith and see if they can clone the immobiliser chip copied onto a new blank chip.

Any half decent auto locksmith will be able to extract the code & cut/program a key although many will be reluctant to cut and program a key that someone else has supplied.
