Diagbox

Unread post by Bloopeta »

Can anyone in North East area with Diagbox help please?
Mrs has a 63 plate DS4, and think needs a sofware update.
If go over 73mph, it dings like there is a speed limit set. The MPG counter wont reset. And when driving continuously over 70mph, it will throw up ABS/Handbrake/ESP fault. Soon as turn off and restart car, it wont come on again, n can drive around for months, until on a motorway over 70mph again

I have moved this from Citroen to the DS area as you may get a quicker response :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Unfortunately Software updates require a dealer login & online access. The majority of Diagbox users on here use fake hacked copies that cant go online.
Many garages now have remote coding systems like OSCA that can connect to dealer software remotely. May be worth asking around local garages to see if they have this.

Have tried a BSI reset proceedure, but faults still remaining.

Anyone else managed to reset trip computer after reaching maximum mileage, and not wanting to reset?

Not sure what you mean by "not wanting to reset" but the ordinary trip recorder on the speedo is reset back to zero by a long press on the trip button. Similarly for Trip 1 and Trip 2 on the info display, a long press on the relevant button does the job. Ignition has to be on but the engine doesn't need to be running.

Yeah I mean the trip 1 and 2 on the middle screen.
If I press the botton on end of wiper stalk, I can cycle between the 3 screens, but a long press that would usually reset doesnt work.

I own 2 DS4s, so I know I am doing it correctly, I have seen a few posts on google on various different Citroens reporting the same problem, but cant find a resolution

Do you have a button on the display that you can give a long press to?

No m8 unfortunately not, just the one on end of wiper stalk. I have the standard monochrome screen.
Ive tried pressing odometer reset button on bottom of clocks to see if that would do amything, but all that does is reset odometer/service interval.
