Hello,
I recently bought a Peugeot 508sw 1.6bluehdi automatic from 2016. When purchasing, only the "Service" light and a tire pressure monitor light were on. When driving home, everything went well, until after a little more than 100 km of driving: the engine failure light came on. The car was still able to continue driving.
After reading the errors I got the following: P02D1 error injector 3 and P2204 NOx.
P02D1: the car has been well maintained and has only driven 160,000 km. Does anyone have an idea what the most likely causes could be? Could injector 3 really be broken already?
P2204 NOx: what could be the cause? Is this bad? In any case, the exhaust does not smoke and the exhaust itself is not colored black. Is it possible that NOx sensor is broken? Aren't there 2? Which one breaks down mostly?
And why could there be a problem with the tire pressure monitoring system? The tire pressure is calculated (abs). What is also striking: nowhere can the tire pressure be recalibrated via the normal route: how do you do that on my car, does anyone know?
thank you very much

Re: Peugeot 508 with nox and injector 3 problems
Thoughts about one of your problems. Injector 3 may have an electrical issue from dampness in the connector or wiring to it, or you may have a leaky injector seal which allows oil to pool around the base of the injector causing leakage, that can sometimes be rectified by a simple tightening of the injector to the correct torque. Just a couple of ideas to get you started.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Peugeot 508 with nox and injector 3 problems
If you bought the car from a dealer then they should be fixing the faults.
A search on P2204 suggests the NOx sensor is faulty. These are expensive so you should check its wiring/connector first. We had it replaced on our Cactus and there is only one of them on that.
For the TPMS, when the tyres are cold (after the car has not been used for a few hours and the sun has not warmed them up), pump them up to the right pressures and then reset the TPMS through one of the screens - possibly a car settings one. It will be in the hand book how to do this.
Note that the engine cylinders will be numbered from the gear box end when looking at injector 3.
The service light could be on for all sorts of reasons, look in the hand book. Could be things like a flat battery, low brake fluid level, low tyre pressure, etc.
