Hello,
I have a peugeot 207cc automatic
it is having problem shifting gears.
SO when i start the car the gears work fine. after about 2minutres or sometimes 5min,
when i shift from any position do D the vehicle will jump( like when you put a manual car in gear and quickly let clutch go a little)
and then doesnt have any power at all.
if i put it in D and manual, nothing will happen, and dash will still say D ( when it works fine, then when I go to D and then manual shift it shoes 1, and i can change gears 2,3,4) and won't give gears option.
and like mention, every time i go from P or N to D it will do small jump.
Erros
D308 communication error between the automatic gearbox and the engine ecu. value received incorrect ( permanent)

How many miles has the vehicle done? Has the gearbox oil ever been changed?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

well i have now also bought a used gearbox and fitted it, still giving same errors and same problem..
the only thing i did before this fault came up was that a day before i had changed the cat on this. the old cat was broken, so i opened the exhaust pipe and fitted another one.

the car has done 92,000miles,
and yes i changed the gear oil after i fitted the gearbox.
the only gearbox code i get is
Erros

and also bcmi communication error
i have now also changed the fuse box in engine bay which didnt make any difference.
there is this thing the car does is that it is fine for about 2min. gears work fine and every thing. and after about 2,3 min this happens. the error code comes up and, gears stop working.
