Hi guys,
I'm getting intermittent warnings related airbag/pretensioner faults, it's getting worse in the past few weeks though.
I've come across some really useful posts here on the forums and based on the error code I have (B0001 Level 1 Driver's Air Bag Line Fault ) I was able to determine that it is indeed outside of the nominal range. It's currently reading 5.3 ohms and the 'ok' range is between 1.7 and 4.5.
I had a look at the various connectors going into the steering wheel comms module but not seeing anything obvious. I'm going to try and give them a clean tomorrow to see if that helps. If I get time I might also try and remove the airbag (after removing power of course) and test the wiring going in/out of the steering wheel module to see if there's good continuity. As an aside, in the past there were 1 or 2 occasions when I locked the steering wheel fully and I've heard what I thought was the ribbon cable in the clock spring move about.
Other than that, would my next option be to get a new steering wheel comms module? Is it possible to just buy one with similar part number on ebay and swap it out? (I have a launch x431 that I'm hoping can recalibrate the steering angle sensor). Any advice at all would be useful. I've just had it back from the dealer after getting a new clutch/flywheel fitted so anything I can do to keep the cost down would be great!
Thanks all!

Re: C4 Grand Picasso Mk2 AirBag Fault
Give all the connectors a good clean with contact cleaner and then dry them all with a hot air dryer of some sort. Also check the other end of the circuits, the plugs into the BSI and do the same.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Will give that a shot, hopefully that's all it is. Will keep you posted. Thanks Mick!
