DS3 Electrical gremlins
Hi everyone, had my ds3 just over a week and a few faults have shown themselves, eco button flashes a few times then stays on, service light is on along with engine fault warning and power steering no longer works. I've borrowed a code reader and have these fault codes, F994, U1313, U1108, U1308, U1400, P1445, P1536, P1A8D, P1AA2, P1A8A, P1134, P1133. Was advised to try a new battery, which i did but has made no difference but now have F5FF fault. Just wondering if anyone has had similar problems before I visit the garage, thanks

Have you done a BSI reset? Especially if the battery has been disconnected during a battery changeover.

Re: DS3 Electrical gremlins
Which engine does it have, manual or auto gear box ? Have you deleted the fault codes and seen which come back ? Before deleting have you noted the freeze frame data that was stored when the last fault code was stored ? Did you buy from a dealer, if so you should have a warranty and the dealer should fix the car.
If from a dealer it could have been for sale for some time and the original battery gone flat giving the apparent faults. If so the bsi reset might clear them.

Thanks, yes I did a BSI reset, its a manual 1.6 diesel, I've just borrowed the code reader again and deleted the faults, these came back on U1108, U1313, U1400.
Got the car off my nephew who will be having it back if I can't get it fixed.
After abit of Google I've narrowed it down to the alternator and power steering rack.
Thanks

What descriptions did the three codes come with?
