hello from Berlin
i have a 2007 behrlingo Hdi1.6 mk2 M59 diesel.
I have situation where the engine turns over but no ignition. i cant hear the fuel pump but i do hear a click from the fusebox(relays). is there a way to diagnose wether this is a fuel pump problem or a immobilizer actively stopping the fuel pump from functioning. I had to change the battery of the car and the fob as well as switch out the blown BSI fuse(the previous owner had the wrong amp fuse installed), thats why i think the immobilizer is activated. can i do this without a more advanced scan computer like the diagbox? this care is a serious “beater” and ive already put 8 months of work and too much money into it and not sure if i want to invest in another expensive tool. i already changed the alternator and a bunch of other stuff. thanks
charlie
where is the fuel pump relay and is that what im looking for?

I'd suggest you carry out a BSI reset first according to the procedure in the link below and then see what situation you have:
