Wiring diagrams

Unread post by Huntmaster650 »

On every other car I've worked on since the 1970's I've either been able to suss out the wiring myself or with the help of a Haynes manual. The C5 X7 doesn't seem to have any old fashioned manuals with diagrams. I've bought a downloadable workshop manual from eBay but it failed to load despite numerous attempts. Haynes does an online version but not sure whether this is what I need. Does the Forum have access to the wiring diagrams for all models?

I have access to a backup set of diagrams for cars up 2012, and there are members with their own access to newer cars' diagrams. If you post the full spec of your car including year, engine, gearbox , body style and trim level you may be lucky. :)

I'm incredibly wary of the online only Haynes manuals as to what they actually include.
An absolute shadow of their former selves by all reviews.
They look mainly to include generic and basic as heck info - and the Wiring Diagrams and Schematics section is labelled "where available". That's not good enough IMO - shell out money only to then find 'oh sorry, it wasn't available'?

Hi can I hijack this thread? I'm looking for a wiring diagram specifically for the ABS on my 2001 citron C5 2.2 HDI European model France specifically I can give you the Vin number or registration number if that's any help?
Cheers!

There was a range of manuals in France called "Revue Technique Automobile" which had wiring schematics. I had one for my 1998 Synergie and I'm pretty sure they were published for a few years after that. You might be able to find one.

This is my best guess for your diagram based on the info you provided: :)

Thanks mate, is there anyway to get better quality images? The text is difficult to make out in places. Not to worry if not.

The diagrams are clear on my laptop and when zoomed in on my phone. Try viewing with a different progam. I use Brave browser on both.

Works perfectly with other browsers too.
This is not a browser problem, but rather a PDF problem.

So I checked all the power etc and all
Is fine. I removed the abs and it’s last lid, soldered all the internals where it has been suggested these cause issues (YouTube) but still
Permanent electrovalve fault reappears.
So looking for a replacement. There are several on eBay but not the exact number on the label as mine, does it have to be? 10.0960-1113.3 on mine, I see several similar but the last few numbers are different. 1147.3 for example.
Will these work?
