Two 2CVs

Unread post by Paul-R »

I was on a walk round New Brighton yesterday and saw these two 2CVs in the drive of a house. The van is definitely a long-term project for someone while the saloon looks much more roadworthy. I particularly liked the two plastic tie-wraps holding the yellow bonnet on to the black van!

Maybe the owner is a member here?

I must say I am intrigued by the trailer behind the saloon, I can't help wondering if it is a matching set as you see at some shows! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I did look at the back of the saloon for a tow bar but couldn't see one.

The 2CV Dolly looks right, the van looks like an Accadiane with an improper 2CV bonnet balanced on Dyane style front wings. (Headlight in the wing not bug eye style.) Maybe just to keep the rain off until a proper one turns up?
