Re: Nemo What tyres
For relatively low speed round town driving yet having a decent lifespan I always used Uniroyals. Generally got 35-40,000 miles out of a set on my small vans, C15, Rascal and Escort !!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Your post on 14th Feb about play in front suspension might be a cause of tyre wear, I think looking at suspension bushes was suggested when you asked in October and there was quite a lot of discussion and comments after your tyre question in January. All the brands you ask about plus others suggested should be fine, but however good the tyres are if the steering/suspension/tracking isn't right they will wear quickly.

Re: Nemo What tyres
On Michelins and Goodyear I usually get about 25k miles on the front and twice that on the back. I do not race around though or do fast starts at lights so this might help.
Pressures are kept at the values on the sticker on the door pillar for the front and mid range of the values for the back.
If the tyres were showing uneven wear I would get a dealer to check the tracking since I would not trust a tyre fitting place but so far not had it done since possibly the early 1990s.
