Radiator fan

Unread post by Fas1999 »

Hi everyone?
Got a couple of issues. I have a Citroën berlingo van 2012 b9. The fan runs so loud everytime I turn off the engine for 8 to 10 minutes every single time and the engine is never hot. It does that even if I just turn the van on and turn it off quickly.
I had a diagnostic check done and listed:
1: fault in the outside temperature sensor circuit
2: Unexpected Re- initilisation fault coming from the BSI
3: This is to do with power steering which says ECU internal fault
4: multifunction screen> Exterior air temperature information invalid
I would be so grateful if anyone could direct me to the right path.
Many thanks in advance ??

I would suggest you check the wiring connections to the sensor, which I believe is in the door mirror, inside the door card and then replace the sensor if all looks ok. This link will give you more information: https://www.berlingoforum.com/thread-991.html :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Since you have more problems, you have to start from one, so that will solve some other problems. I suggest replacing the outside temperature sensor in the door mirror first. That sensor doesn't cost much and it's easier to do than test the installation.
