Cooling fan issues berlingo van 1.6 hdi

Hi all my fan continues for ages after switch off and is draining the battery constantly does anyone have any suggestions/fixes please many thanks in advance

Hi thanks for that still confused as engine isn’t overheating according to the dial
Reading it’s showing normal just runs forever after a journey short or long 🤷

From a cursory reading of that thread myself, I wonder if you have a thermostat sensor issue? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
