NG4 to SMEG IV2
Good evening, I'm wondering if anyone who has done this can replace an NG4 with a SMEG IV2 on a 2010 C5 (don't reply, you're in the wrong place, I can't find any information). If so, what procedures do I need to follow? Is it a plug-and-play job, or do I need to modify/integrate the original electrical system? Best regards, Raffaello.

Welcome along. Please post in English - you can use Google translate if necessary.
Translation for convenience:
Good evening, I was wondering if anyone who has already done this can replace an NG4 with a SMEG IV2 on a 2010 C5. If so, what are the steps involved? Is it a simple installation or does it require modifying/integrating the original electrical system? Sincerely, Raffaello.

Re: NG4 to SMEG IV2
In the past I replaced my RT4, with a NG4, it was not problem at all, but you have to configure it correctly with the Diagbox and put your vin in it.
But when you remove the smeg, you see, there is a horizontal bar this you have to remove and instead there must be some special parts.

OK, I guess there are some things that are different and I need to go to the repair shop to get it working. I've looked around for both LEXIA3 and Dialbox but can't find any free software or useful hardware. What I need to know is if the NG4 wiring is the same/compatible with the Smeg IV2.Kees wrote: 02 Feb 2026, 19:33 In the past I replaced my RT4, with a NG4, it was not problem at all, but you have to configure it correctly with the Diagbox and put your vin in it.
