Fuel leak while priming

Hi

I changed the fuel filter on my 1,6hdi. But when trying to prime it with the priming bulb it starts leaking like crazy. Diesel is pouring out under the car. Pretty much impossible to see where it leaks but atleast not from the 3 top connections. Removed everything 2 times to check if the seal is not in the correct position, checked the torx bolts... can not see anything that looks wrong. Please help with suggestions what to do.

If it is coming out of the bottom of the fuel filter then you probably have the drain on it open or not fully tight.

After some more investigation I found the problem. The platic pin going to the bottom of the filter had broken off and was stuck in the old filter, just the tip with the o-ring. Likely due to me working in -4 degrees. So now I have to wait for a new fuel filter lid.
