Gerbox Change in Lexia
hi recently i did a gearbox swap on my C2 from Sensodrive to manual, But of Course the car wont start - can gearbox be changed in lexia, or i need a whole ECU remap?

If you have access to a LEXIA you should be able to reconfigure the car.
There are a couple of areas you will need to address.
There is a lock-out relay connected to the starter and the gearbox ECU, this will need to be removed and/or bypassed. This is probably what is stopping the engine from starting at the moment. I will try and see if I can locate it.
The engine ECU will complain that it's not getting info from the gearbox. You should be able to tell the engine ECU that it's attached to a manual gearbox, or that it's no longer an auto. I have found that it asks for a "long" or "short" gearbox, I don't know what that means. You'll have to experiment, I guess.
There may be other ECU's which will complain that they are not getting info from the gearbox (like the BSI and the instrument cluster). Just reconfigure them. You'll know what to select by the options it gives you.
FYI, the engine ECU is either a "manual" ECU or an "auto" ECU. You should be able to reconfigure an "auto" ECU into a "manual" ECU (you just turn off that feature), but a "manual" ECU does not have the capability of "talking" to an auto box, so you can't reconfigure it for use with an auto box.
If you don't have access to a LEXIA, just bypassing the interlock relay should get the engine running. As I said you will get lights and codes, but the car should still run.
There are 2 versions of the C2, does your instrument cluster have 6 LEDs for the temperature gauge or just one light? This may be VERY important! The way the starters are engaged are VERY different between the two! If the cluster has 6 LEDs there is a very quick and simple way to turn the starter over and get the engine running (to test the system).

The lock out relay is located below the left hand headlight, above the horn and ABS module. This is a pic from a C3 but the C2 is much the same.
You will need to remove the wheel arch liner to get to it.
