"bluetooth connection with the car failed"

Unread post by Johneco+ »

Wrongly, I suppose, the application notified me that there was a new version of the navigation map.
I did the process of preparing the usb despite that the "new" version was 26.0.0.r0!!! while the car map apeared to be the 28.0.0.r0 and of course the update was not started at all!!!!
Since then, whenever I connect the car, the application does not get route data and sends the message "connection to the car failed".
The gps of the infotainment working properly!!!
The car is C3 AIRCROSS 2018 model petrol 110ps.

Welcome to the forum.

The first thing I would try is to delete the Bluetooth entry on the car and on the phone and then start again connecting them as if new.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Welcome, My experience is that connection to Citroën via Bluetooth is not the best.
The next step i would try is factory reset your car infotainment system, if you hunt through the settings menu, you should find the reset button.
On your phone, did your unpair or delete previous connection?
Good luck.

Finally I managed to reconnect.
I made factory reset the Android Auto, factory reset the infotainment, I deleted the car from the phone Bluetooth and also the phone from the car Bluetooth!!
Then reconnect and the miracle was done 😁😁😁😁
