Currently experiencing a teething issue.. My car is loosing at least 500ml oil every day, and I drive approximately 150km a day..
There are no top source. ie, everything at the top are dry, but there are lot's of dried oil stain around the oil filter housing, but my thought was, since it's leaking 500ml oil everyday then the stain should be wet? but they're like caked up oil, except for one other part that's attached to the gearbox that looks to be like a cooler, and this part is dripping oil and the oil stain around this part is wet, and I did a search and found the part to be listed as "Engine Oil Cooler".. and also, "Automatic Transmission oil cooler".. but it has engine oil around it, and not transmission oil..
Edit: If I understand correctly, the oil cooler at the oil filter housing uses the radiator coolant for cooling. But, anyone knows what passes through this cooler?
So, my question is.. is the part an engine oil cooler, or a transmission oil cooler..
