2014 citroen c4 grand picasso not starting.

Hi so im picasso has broken down, I used it for school run then went to jump back into the car and it would not start. Rac was called and this is the report,https://rescue-report.rac.co.uk/rescue- ... =MyRac+App

I had the car recovered home and have been trying to figure out what's gone wrong since. I have added two extra earth cables to rule that out, battery has been removed and fully charged still nothing. I havent been able to do a bsm/bsi reset as says need window open to turn on side lights which I cant do as car is in engery eco mode so wont let me open the window. I'm waiting on a launch diag tool to see if I can read anything different and do a bsm reset that way. I brought a second hand bsm to try that still nothing.

You only need a window open for ignition key access and maybe sidelights for the reset. You can use a screwdriver to flick the door latch with the door open to fool the car into thinking the door is closed.

If you leave the key in the ignition switch and you then open the driver's door, do you get a warning message - if not then the immobiliser might not be recognising the key.

We had a Xsara Picasso that stopped working and it was a maxi fuse that had failed, RAC did not spot it but towed it to the dealer since it was under warranty.

What does it do when you try and start it? How did it break down? Manual or Auto?

Ignition comes on but not trying to turn over can here a click coming from bsi area when pressing start button and its an automatic and was drove to school run turned off and then would not start again

Looks to be on about 150k miles, could be the starter motor is faulty if it is not turning over.

Did you check the key is being recognised by leaving it in the ignition switch and opening the driver's door to see if you got a warning message ?

Yes I did get a message about key in the car when opening the door

Turns out was just the starter motor thanks for the help.
