2018 DS7 Crossback fuel filler cover stuck / removal of interior boot panels for access

Hi, a per the title I can't unlock /open my fuel filler cap with tcentfl locking. I've tried all the tips I can find online to try access internally but nothing works.

By all accounts it's ray enough to release the filler cap from the inside but you need to remove the side panel of the boot or use an access panel again on the side. My car doesn't have any if these and looks like the only way to remove. Side panel is to take the complete trim off from both sides and the rear as it looks to be all one piece.

Does anybody know how to do this. Or perhaps you have. DC7 specific fix to access externally that I can try.
