Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my 2016 Citroen C4 II (B7) BlueHDi. The problem: All audible warning sounds, specifically the indicator 'tick-tock' sound and the seatbelt warning chimes, have stopped working.
Current Situation:
The visual icons on the instrument cluster for indicators and seatbelts are working perfectly.
The main audio system (radio/multimedia) is working fine, so this doesn't seem to be a general speaker/amplifier issue.
These sounds used to cut out intermittently before, but now they are completely gone.
I haven't tried a BSI reset yet, but I'm planning to do so. However, since the issue started intermittently, I suspect it's a hardware/connection problem.
My Questions:
-Where exactly is the buzzer that produces these sounds located on this specific model? Is it integrated into the instrument cluster, or is it part of the something else?
-If it's on the PCB, is it a common failure point that can be fixed with re-soldering?
-Are there any specific fuses or connectors I should check before dismantling the dash?
I would really appreciate it if anyone can confirm the exact location of the buzzer so I can check for dry solder joints or replace it.
Thanks in advance!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Thanks for the link. Based on the unit in my 2016 C4 (image attached), I can see a circular grille on the right side of the assembly. I assume the buzzer is located right behind that. Since the sound was intermittent before failing, I suspect a dry solder joint on the PCB or the buzzer itself rather than a software issue.
