I am trying to resolve the issue of the side light not working. The headlight has been replaced with a good secondhand one, as the old was letting in water.
The bulb is working, the OSF sidelight is working but the NS (passenger) is not. There was a pin the was not in great shape which has now been replaced.
Is there any obvious or common issues, as I suspect the are fused on the same fuse, the switch is working given on is on. I have subsequently replaced any other pins in the plug that were not looking great but still the sidelight is not working.
Any recommendations or common issues would be gratefully received.

What year, engine and gearbox is the car?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

If you plug in the old light does its side light then work ?
The fuses will be listed in the handbook if you have not already looked there. Assuming you are asking about a C3 II in your details, since not noted in your topic, a quick look in one for a 2010 on C3 has 1 fuse listed for the day running lights.

Re: NSF sidelight not working
Thank you for the reply, yes it is a MK II. It is my partners car. The side light did not work in the old headlight either, we replaced it as it was letting in water. The side light is working on one side of the car, so I have made an assumption the fuse is ok, given both are on one fuse.
She phoned yesterday to tell me that when she turned off the car, the OS sidelight was flashing constantly with the ignition off.
She has been running the car for two years with no inner wheel arch linings at the front, so I am wondering if there maybe an earth grounding on the NS, that may have taken more muck than it should have done, and whether this may affect it?
Any other assistance or suggestions would be welcomed. It is begining to drive me mad after having replaced three of the pins in the multipoint connector to the light.
I am waiting to buy a multimeter to test the connections.
