The first help is to connect the mobile phone to the USB port with the help of the appropriate cable. If the phone is charging, it means that it has +5V and that means that the port has the correct power supply. The USB port normally has only 4 pins (+5V, Data-, Data+ and GND. You should know what the problems are for the future. Not every USB Flash can work and it must be properly formatted.
