DS3 Crossback (2021) – Screen blackout only when iPhone is fast charging via USB / CarPlay

I’m looking for similar experiences or technical insights regarding a DS3 Crossback (likely MY2021) and iPhone (USB-C model) when using Apple CarPlay.
I’m experiencing a screen blackout issue with the central infotainment display, and I believe I’ve identified a very specific condition under which it happens.

When I connect my iPhone 17 via USB for CarPlay and the phone enters fast charging:
- The infotainment screen suddenly goes black
- Audio may continue, but the display does not recover until reconnection / restart
When iPhone battery level is sufficiently high (only slow charging / low power):
- No blackout occurs

It seems that when the iPhone requests both high power (fast charging) and high bandwidth (CarPlay / display output) at the same time,
the DS3 infotainment USB port may not be able to supply sufficient power, causing the display unit to crash or reset.

Has anyone with a DS3 / DS3 Crossback (2019–2021) experienced something similar?
Is this a known issue in France / EU, possibly addressed by a software update, TSB, or head unit replacement?

I’m based in Japan, where DS vehicles are relatively rare.
Local DS dealers here say they have no recorded cases of this issue,
which is why I’m trying to gather information from owners and forums in Europe, especially France.

I have no actual information on this hence this is just my opinion. I daresay the reality is a result of the modern vehicle 'over monitoring' its systems. Because it has the ability to switch into eco mode when certain conditions apply I wouldn't be surprised if it has the ability to alter things when it detects a potential overload on any particular system, in this case the USB power supply being unable to meet the demand, it removes loading from elsewhere ie the screen. ONLY MY THINKING with no basis in fact!!
