Peugeot 508 2.0 HDI (RXH Hybrid4) intake manifold gasket

Unread post by impaelas »

Hi guys,

I've recently replaced intake manifold gasket with Victor Reinz one (0348.V7 catalogue part) along with injector seals. Still having some smoking from that part so I suspect 0348.V7 O-ring might be the culprint. I didn't know about it before I started so I left the old one.

My confusion is that Victor Reinz supplies only the seal without O-rings while same part no. from Dr. Motors comes with 4 O-rings:

Questions:
1. To my knowledge 0348.V7 is used in only one location and I am puzzled as to where do these four O-rings seat?
2. Is there an O-ring for the throttle body available for sale separately? I can't find it anywhere.
3. IS there anything else I am missing to re-do this job properly?

Thank you

I would ask Victor Reinz about the O rings as it may be that you should have had them. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Majority don't include them, at least according to the pictures and they're not on the diagram I've linked. Puzzling.
