Peugeot 3008 2015 ESP/ASR system faulty

Hi all.

I'm hoping someone can help me as I'm at my wits end with my peugeot 3008!

I've recently had my alternator completely die on me and left me with a dead battery. I have had a mechanic replace the alternator and had a brand new battery fitted.

The car now has on the dash ESP/ASR system faulty and the engine fault: repair needed. It's illuminated the orange/Amber car skidding light on the dash and the EML.

I've hooked it up to diagbox and its recorded the following errors:

C1391 engine control unit; absence of clearing of the ASR/MSR reference value. -permanent

U1208 engine control unit communication; incorrect value received. -permanent

I've had the speed sensors checked when the car is running with live data being received and they are all the same.

What else can I try please? It's Christmas time and I need my car to travel to work in

You may have to tell the ECU it has had new parts in the 'Repair' section of Diagbox which may deal with the faults. Either way I would clear all faults and see what comes up the next time you start it in order to try and get a better idea of where the problem is.

I've cleared the errors numerous times but as soon as I set off driving, the errors immediately reappear. I'll give the repair bit a go when my laptop has some charge, thank you for the suggestion

All it tells me is the codes in my main thread C1391 & U1208
There's no other errors except these 2.

So it's upset it's not getting info from the ABS. Are there any codes in there? Is it actually on line? If no errors, but online, you'll need to go through the data looking for something that is out of place.

Possibly a BSI reset might help if the mechanic did not follow a procedure when replacing the battery.
