DS7 additional heating -webasto

Hello,

Any chance anyone can help me understand webasto operations on my 2.0hdi DS7.
Seams it will not run via remote while the car is turned off and locked, which by me should be the purpose of webasto system to preheat the car..If i start engine, run for some time, turn engine off then additional heating starts while being in the car.. if i turn it off, get out, lock the car, try to start again, it wont start again..New Varta AGM battery, fuel level ok, etc.anyone having this one i any PSA cars same, similar age, and if yes, how does it work for you?

Yea, came across this manual and did try it but its not working. Thank you for sharing..
I cant hear any click or noise coming from the area where system should be, so its not starting for sure. I guess some issue with the device itself or bsi doesn’t allow it to start..I have new Varta AGM battery installed, fuel at max, etc but still doesn’t come on..
As i can see its quite rare having at as standard. Might be members from northern countries had it as standard and share any experience they might have..

Hello,
Just to reply in case someone else might be having same issue. It turns out that after changing the battery i haven’t specified the type, technology being agm to the battery module. Once i registered new battery vis diagnostic, webasto system started working as expected. Further investigation point that factory fitted webasto is having a requirement that battery health needs to be at 80% or more for webasto to work. Previous one was at 72% when i replace so i presume after replacing , without telling it, BSI tough its the same old battery..
