Hello, The vehicle in concern is Citroen c4 1.6 hdi 2006y non dpf 80kw manual.
I've experiencing a very unique and strange noise on cold starts after a night around 0 C.
I have experienced the same noise around the same time last year with very similar outside conditions. But at the time I was working at the mechanic shop and replaced the alternator belt the same day and after that i have not experienced the noise again until today. (maybe coincidence?)
I have not recorded the video, but found a reddit post with EXACT same sound "".
Im interested to know if anybody has ever encountered the same issue. Im aware that its has to do something with the belt system, but maybe someone knows more concrete answer.
In my perticular vehicle, the car doesnt have the automatic tensioning pulley, it is using an elastic belt.
Greatly appreciate any input.
Very interesting noise on cold start.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Glow plugs are new and apart from the noise engine runs just fine no stumbling no inconsistent revs, last year the glow plugs were unplugged (don't know why, but managed to find out that they were unplugged) and it did the same thing so its unrelated to glow plugs *probably*.
