I am in the process of fitting leather front seats from an Exclusive into my 2009 VTR+ Tourer 2.0hdi.
Last weekend I swapped out the door wiring harness for the Exclusive harness which includes the wiring for the position memory switches, which I have also fitted. I've added the door control unit which is inside the door car up near the mirror but seem to be missing the multi connector which plugs into it, although the harness now has a spare two wire connector dangling above the speaker, which may or may not be relevant .
Of greater concern is that everything works as before, apart from the door mirrors. They power fold okay when you lock the car but the drivers mirror adjustment only works when the sliding button is pushed left and the passenger mirror doesn't respond at all to the up/ down/ left/ right button. Looking at the original harness, it looks as though the colours are the connector to the mirror switch are slightly different e.g. brown instead of red or vice versa, cannot remember which, and the yellow and green wires are swapped over. I bought the harness in the UK so hopefully can rule out left hand drive differences. Could it just be that the switch panel is different for different models. Looking on fleabay, the switches seem to have different serial numbers e.g. 96644917XT 96660257XT 96599975XT. Could it be that the switches are wired differently internally for different models? Any ideas?
Drivers door switches - which serial number?

Re: Drivers door switches - which serial number?
Firstly, don't pay much attention to the colour of wires, it can vary between cars but the wires are coded with numbers along there length which is the way to identify them.
Secondly a pic or two of the plugs and harnesses might jog someone's memory1

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
