Ds4 puretech

Unread post by Alan thorpe »

Hi all

I’m Alan and new to here

My question is I have a 2016 ds4 1.2 broken puretech engine

Can anyone please tell me if there is another engine that’s the same
Eg the Citroen cactus ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

This site has a list of the models which use that engine, although If it were me I'd consider a different engine altogether but I don't know which!! :-D

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

It is a great engine in our experience. My daughter has one in her 2019 DS3, 30K miles now. Good performance, and fuel economy and no reliability issues in her two years of ownership, it came with a good service history. I have kept up the service history with regular oil changes etc. as per Citroen's recommendations. It has recently had the cambelt replaced as a precaution as it is six years old, did not require sump removal as the belt was immaculate. I don't understand all the bad press, but that's the internet for you sadly.
