Just had my Citroen c4 vtr power steering rebuilt and onto the next problem, the oil filter housing seal.
Is replacing the seal a big job? Service department of the citroen dealership said it's an engine out job. Has anyone had experience with this?

Are you referring to the seal between the filter cannister and the block? 
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
