Battery draining

Unread post by agino »

Hi everyone,
my 5008 keeps draining the main battery (drops from 12.4 V to 10.8 V in a few days).
I can hear a faint beeping or buzzing after onneting the battery. I guess its from the alarm siren.
I did looking for it but cannot find, guess will be hidden under windshield.
I would like to disconnect it, but I’m not sure if it will start sounding because of its internal battery.
Has anyone tried disconnecting the alarm siren on a 2018 Peugeot 5008?
Do I need to remove the plastic cover under the wipers to reach it?
I was looking also for fuse, to disconnect alarm, but its hidden under huge group of wires and plastic cover.
Seems to be impossible. Any trick?

Garage says, to replace BPGA, but I have opened BPGA and checked, so for the first looks like fine.

Any advice or pictures would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a short in the BPGA to me too. Open it and make sure it is completely dry with a hot air blast for a good time. Then see if the sound disappears.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I just took out siren today morning. After all completed back, I locked car by remote control.
I have heard this beeping sound again. Next mornig check, confirmed, that battery draining still continue.

Im unable to locate beeping sound, Ihear all around in motor area, but mostly on left side.
It beeps when lock and unlock car. After the mirrors are fully folded, or unfolded.

Regarding BPGA, It was opened last week, no weakness found. All fuses are OK, I tighten all bolts.
I didnt see any relay inside.(look for pictures, if any Idea)
