c5 mk1 rear

hi 2003 c5 mk1 i put a pic up and need your thoughts about as i think just to much grease the rear im having no probs with but what you all think ?

I think you need to clean it off and then examine the bush. All the metalwork round there needs rust treating and protection too I'd say. :)

I just zoomed in and I don't think rust treatment is the way to go. I'd advise replacing the arm and probably the other side too and then treat the chassis as best as you can. :)

If it is grease then maybe someone tried to stop the suspension squeaking, or it could be mushed rubber from the bush overheating, or maybe the result of a fluid leak in the strut? :)

You can't normally add grease to these in service. The amount of grease is set when you change the bearings and shaft. So, how did you grease it? And if you haven't, why do you think it's grease?

i didnt grease it at and seems ok i am gone rust proof it but the hasnt given me any problems at
