I’ve replaced the rocker cover gasket on this car and been having issues getting to run smooth at the start with multiple codes popping up. Now I’ve managed to clear everything and had taken it for a drive.
But after a while after driving the car seems to get boggy or lose power as it just gets to around 2k revs and the whole car shutters, maybe glow plugs or something.
Had a look around about the P1349 & P1351, it speaks about the glow plugs relay but this car doesn’t have the relay. I had notice this cable lose last year when done the service but never really researched about it to see what it was. The car starts perfect no issues what so ever, so I’m guessing I don’t really need the Relay.
This code has never popped up before in the past until now. I ain’t sure what to do anymore with the car.

The glow plugs are only used when the engine is cold so after you have been driving for a bit they are no longer in use, I'd suggest you clear the faults, do a BSI reset following the procedure below and then rescan for faults to see what is really going on.

Hi, I have a 2011 3008 2.0 HDI and my heater relay looks very much like the item laying on your front subframe nearside extension leg. My one is mounted on the stud and nut shown in your photo on the front of the ECU box. So to answer your question I do think you have a heater relay.

The original car keys with fob was lost and had to get a replacement chipped key.
How can I stop the shuttering/joggering when after driven the car for a while, feels like it looses power or can’t produce the power?
Do you think I’d have to re program the injectors as I had everything removed expect injectors to replace the gasket. As I had to unplug the injectors maybe it ain’t reading them right or not sending enough juice for the car?

The glow plug relay isn’t really needed, as it’s more for when the car is cold or your in very cold places. It’s never had the relay for the time owning the car and it’s never had an issue starting first time.
This issue which is giving now it’s just started after replacing the gasket. But only after driving for a while.

Are you sure you replaced the injectors in the same order as you removed them?

The injectors didn't come out, only the lines and fuel rails. Everything around but the injectors.mickthemaverick wrote: 16 Oct 2025, 22:46 Are you sure you replaced the injectors in the same order as you removed them?
