I need to respray the wing and bonnet on my 205 due to an accident. Has anyone got any ideas on what type of paint to use (cellulose, two pack etc) and any tips on painting with a compressor.

Auto painting is not the big deal the "pros" would have you think. The basic rule of thumb is that perfect is almost good enough when it comes to preparation and time has to be irrelevant.
I once painted a car many years ago & when I traded it in, the car dealer commented that he had never seen original paint so good on a car of that age.
To repaint a car today is a costly business so be prepared to spend the time to save the money. I have posted articles regarding painting plastics as I own BXs but probably the quickest and simplest way to learn the basics of auto painting is to go to this link as you will find this as good a guide as you will find.
The guy who wrote it is a VW enthusiast, but then, nobody's perfect. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
