Hello folks
I place this here as i think this issue goes for all psa cars
I hope someone can shed some light on my weird message
that i get on my thinkcar scantool before i do a complete systemsscan
The message is strangely enough part in duch and part in english
but i'll translate the dutch parts
It speaks of new keys but i never had new keys made they are the keys the car came with
Also the hazard warning lights have always been off
I'm sure some of you encountered a message like this What does it mean and what can i do about it
The dutch part says: The diagnosing tool has detected that the hazard warning lights are switched on
the last part says: The car will function completely normal after the automatic switch off of the hazard warning lights
Also there are some dtc in the BSI: U1F00 , B115B, B1418, B1818
but i don't think they cause the no start
I hope someone knows what to do
thanks peyvey

Re: weird message on the scantool
I have deleted the duplicate post you put on the DS forum because it will get very confusing having two threads with the same problem. The problem is proper to this thread so hopefully you will get some ideas soon. Please don't post the same subject more than once in future. Good luck
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: weird message on the scantool
So, you used an not original scantool, get errors and then think something wrong with the car....
Just use the diagbox!!!

Re: weird message on the scantool
Bedankt Kees
This scantool has served me well in the past on different brands of cars and has much functionality. Furthermore i don't think it invents its own messages,
this message comes from the car and the citroen software it uses,
I have also scanned with diagbox that i downloaded from a spanish forumsiite i found the link of on this forum the so called ROBERT free version
But i don't know what version that is
when i plug it in diagbox begins scanning all systems then at a certain point it asks me to switch ignition OFF and ON and then it stops scanning the rest of the modules and returns to the previous screen. I know those modules are on this car but it does not scan them
I dont know if the diagbox version i use is flawed or the vci is no good maybe someone on this forum can point me to a good download
but in the meantime i will use my thinkcar scanner
I would also like to know if someone seen this message before
thank you peyvey
