Help
My Lexia3 laptop has decided to fail just when I need it to replace the ABS module prior to an MOT due in a couple of weeks. Has anyone got a Lexia (or equivalent diagnostics) to loan or sell? Vehicle is a 2001 C5 Mk1 2.2HDi.
Anyone with a Lexia or ABS programmer near Grantham??

I do have a Lexia interface which was Peter N's but the laptop is missing a power lead which I have not managed to replace yet. Presumably it is your laptop that has failed while your Lexia interface may well be OK so not much use to you but you are welcome to borrow it if you want, happy to meet halfway?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Anyone with a Lexia or ABS programmer near Grantham??
The laptop appears OK. Its a bit temperamental and slow, and has no battery but I run it off mains. But the primary problem is that when I opened the Lexia program it returned the warning "Access violation at address 400089C8 in module 'VCL50. PBL'. Read of address D410260". Looking at a Peugeot chatroom and a French auto forum (Tlemcen-elecctronic) it appears the warning arises from a virus or a Lexia sub-program which virus scanners (AVG specifically??) think is a virus (I am not sure), but results in the Lexia being blocked. I bought the laptop from a forum member and it has worked OK up til now. AVG was already installed and I did notice when I started the lap top it was carrying out a "scheduled scan". It may be that scan which caused the Access Violation warning. https://www.tlemcen-electronic.com/foru ... 0-pbl.html
Its worth Lexia owners researching this issue with a view to disabling anti-virus software or virus scanning software.
I will PM you about meeting up.
