Hello! I come from Tennessee in America with my 94 306 XSI 8V that was imported from Setagaya City Japan

This car specifically is a super rare automatic XSI, which i believe was only sold for the Japanese market and through my research I've only found one other auto XSI that exists but I'm sure there are more out there

When i drive the car around, 98% of people don't know what it is or even look twice at it, unless they see me driving on the right hand side of the car

Currently it has 80k kilometers on it (49,709 miles), modifications are the headlights and tail lights, full aftermarket audio setup with Kenwood and Audiobahn goodies, Sparco Monza quick release wheel, PlayStation 2 in the glovebox, USDM spec battery with new battery terminals and a wink mirror

I originally wanted a 206 as that was the Peugeot i grew up driving in Need for Speed and various other video games from that era, but i found this 306 for super cheap and i couldn't pass it up, I've owned the car since 2023 and I've since fallen in love with it and refuse to part with it, but i do hope to one day import a 206 here along with a 205 GTI

Peugeot stopped selling cars in the US in 1991, and even then they only sold the 405 and the 505, on top of them selling poorly they're also super hard to find as a majority of those cars are now gone, but die hard Peugeot and French car enthusiasts keep those survivors on the road, we never got the 205 and we never got the 306

Hi and :welc:
That looks to be a very nice model and obviously in caring hands. Make the most of the forum by looking around from the Board Index link under the main banner at the top of the page. You will come across the Off Topic Chat Lounge (OTCL) where there are many discussions on all sorts of subjects but politics and religion are banned!! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Welcome to the forum. It's an interesting car for sure and you have a great portfolio of other cars. I'm very envious of your multi-bay garage.
