Hi hope someone can help. 100 miles Post a service (oil, oil filter, gearbox oil, fuel filter) the car is going into a limp mode then stalling with the stop warning. Error code is f40a. No engine warning light. Oil check on dash is "ok". Oil level is good.
from cold will run fine for 5 mins. Once warm and revved will sometimes get amber triangle and limp. Sometimes stall with stop warning and sometimes both. Does this when stationary.
any ideas would be gratefully received.

That code seems known, but unlikely to lead to a stall. Might need a different scanner - can you read live data?

Yep read live data. Only thing that jumped out was a drop on the fuel sensor which I assumed was the cpu cutting the engine. Cleared the codes and that's the only error that came back

What codes were there before you cleared them?

P2291. The only other error.
one other oddity is the radiator fan sometimes runs continuously once it stalls. Radiator hoses are cool and engine cool to the touch.
she kicks over straight away and ticks over fine but rev a few times and she misbehave. Refitted fuel filter and oil filter just in case but no change.
