In the diagrams I have for my Boxer van, many wires have three letters to indicate bicolour wires, example below. I have a good idea how to read the codes but I think it can be ambiguous sometimes and would like another opinion.
- I assume that you always take the first two letters to be the first colour, is that correct?
- If so, then the thrird letter can be ambiguous. In the case of JNR, is the R red or pink? In the case of VIB, is B white, blue or beige?
