Parking brake faults Citroen c4 grand picasso 2008 1,6 HDI

Unread post by Ravnholt »

Hello everyone. I have a problem; I needed to replace the driveshaft on our 2008 Citroën C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 HDI.

I removed the left front brake, but had some difficulty taking the caliper off, so it ended up being done by force.

I then wanted to clear the parking brake fault, and now it’s a mess.

I now have these fault codes:

C155A Parking brake not calibrated

C155D Deactivation of automatic engagement function for parking brake

U1219 Communication with the electrically controlled parking brake

Don't see any connection between front brake and the handbrake. Were the faults there before? Did you lose the brake fluid?

Could you expand on what the problem was and how you overcame it?

I'm also at a loss to see any connection between that and the parking brake. Did you have to bleed the brakes and did you use the correct procedure if you did?
