Boxer 3.0 return air
Hello, has anyone encountered this error before? 2007 Boxer 3.0. When the EGR solenoid valve closes (when revving up, down, even at idle when warm) air or combustion products go back into the air filter, making a humming sound. Black smoke is visible when accelerating. EGR solenoid valve, EGR, air flow meter, throttle valve have been replaced.

Have you cleaned out all the hoses in the induction system?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Boxer 3.0 return air
I didn't clean the whole system.
I don't understand why there is only a problem when the solenoid is closed.
If I disconnect the vacuum tube between the EGR and the solenoid, so the EGR is permanently closed, the situation remains the same: if only the solenoid is open, it doesn't push air back.
