E-Berlingo XL mirror help!

Good afternoon.

I'm hoping someone can help with an issue im having. We picked up our new 25 plate e-berlingo XL 7 seater yesterday and on the same day, a motorhome smashed the drivers side mirror. The motorhome drove off and left us with a smashed outer plastic trim and shattered glass.

I've spoken to Citroen and they want over £400 for the part alone. I've looked at spare part websites and they say that the older ones (2018-2024) aren't compatible, though they look exactly the same?

I'd really appreciate any help, advice, maybe you are selling one or know someone else that might be selling one...

A rather sad start for your new car.

Did you ask Citroen if they will sell you just the plastic covers and glass rather than a full mirror ? The coloured cover may need to be painted, we had to do this when we replaced one on a C4 we had and got it supplied painted. The cover was about £50 possibly 6 years ago.

However, if faced with a large bill then that is what insurance is for. It helps if you got the number plate of the other vehicle.
