Xsara picasso 2.0 hdi full clutch replacement driven less than 50 miles cut out and won't start
I recently had the clutch plate, pressure plate, thrust bearing and clutch release lever replaced on my 2006 citroen xsara picasso 2.0 hdi. When my mechanic finished the work, it was running great, but on the 2nd day of using the car, at 46 miles the car suddenly cut out, and although the starter turns the engine, it will not start.. and my mechanic has now gone off on a month long holiday... anyone have any ideas ???

Idealy you need to have it scanned to see what fault codes you have, but have a look around to see if anything has come loose, multiplugs , fuel connectors etc.
Thanx to all the admins & knowledgeable people that make this the best forum on the interweb. BUT COME BACK MARC , We miss you!

The crank shaft sensor might be located on top of the bell housing so it is something to check. If it fails you might not get a fault code/engine management light.
