2020 Peugeot expert 2.0L no power

Today I noticed a lack in power and as the day goes it got worse, it won’t go up any incline the power is that low. It has started to emit black smoke when trying to rev the engine.
Any ideas would be much appreciated

You shouldn't get any smoke out of the exhaust on cars fitted with a DPF (particle filter) regardless of how poorly it is. How many miles has it done? How long have you had it for and for how many of those miles?

Had the van 1 year and done 10k of the 104k on the clock

Look under the bonnet for any loose air ducts to the engine as a first quick check. After that if nothing obvious is seen you might need a diagnostic, especially if the engine management light has come on.

Found the problem, I removed the dpf and the van drivers better than ever
Going to get the the dpf cleaned tomorrow

My dispatch 2.0 was the same, not much go. Removed the dpf, it got cleaned then refitted and it was a different van. Before it got cleaned I tried running water through it, the water only trickled through, after cleaning it ran trough as quickly as i could put it in. That's the second psa diesel I've had that done to.

Personally if its a diesel I would recommend disconnecting the MAF sensor and see how it drives, it will give an EML light when disconnected but won't have adverse effect on the running of the vehicle.
