Dear All,
I‘m new in this forum and would be happy to get help for my issue. I have a Berlingo B9 MULTISPACE from 2008 which I bought new at that time with all possible options, including the original KML/Nomade V1 Bluetooth Handsfree Set in combination with a RD4 N1 radio. Now I was recently upgrading my radio to RD45 in combination with a proper Display. I was configuring everything with Diagbox. Basically everything is working, Only when switching to the Bluetooth menu you can see that there is a conflict between the still installed KML/Nomade V1 module and the RD45 built-in Bluetooth. The display is permanently switching between both Bluetooth menus and therefore pairing is not possible.
I have already set the old KML/Nomade module as “absent” in the BSI. But the module is still working and interferes with the RD45. I think the only way is to physically remove the module, but I was unable to find it in the car. I was looking behind the radio tunnel, under the driver wheel, where all the fuses are (left hand driver car) and even removed the glove box (right side of the car) without success in allocating it.
Can anyone help me please, by letting me know where I can find it.
Many thanks in advance!
Robert

After you made the BSI changes in Diagbox did you save them and then do a BSI reset ?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Thank’s for the prompt reply!!’
Yes, I have saved it in the BSI configuration. Afterwards, when checking the error messages, it even showed an error in the BSI, saying somewhat like ‘BSI configuration says KML absent, while KML physically connected’ . I have not done a BSI reset. How is the reset done?? Regards Robert

It seems to be at the extreme right hand end of the dashboard (LHD car), not sure if it is accessed from below, or if there is an access panel on the end of the dashboard, or perhaps by removing the glovebox. It should have an 18 way blue connector.

Thanks a lot to both of you!!!!
If you say extreme right hand side of the dashboard, do you mean between the right hand side of the radio tunnel and the dashboard section where the passenger airbag (LHD car) is located, or do you mean, right to the passenger airbag = at the end of the dashboard, close to the passenger door?
Thanks

It looks to be right next to the door, fairly low down.

Re: Location of KML/Nomade V1 Bluetooth Module in Berlingo B9 2008
Hello again, I’m happy to report success
.
Here is a short summary:
1) resetting the BSI didn’t help. There was still the switching between the RD45 and Nomade V1 module Bluetooth setup menu.
2) I have found the the Nomade V1 module, as suggested by Xantia_V6 very fare down behind a plastic cover on the right side (passenger side for LHD) just before the door , where the glove box ends. It is connected to the backside of the plastic cover and the main cable can be disconnected easily. After the disconnection, the Bluetooth setup menu shows up and works as it should.
Many thanks again, you saved my day!
Will donate later on !
