Urgent Help needed Please

Unread post by Feri »

Hi Everyone,

I was on a euro-trip with our 2012 Euro5 2.2 Citroen Relay camper and a week ago on our way home the we broke down in Andorra.
Took it to a garage where the following issue was found:
P0382 Pre-post Heat Unit
P15BD Particle Emission Filter Plug Relay
P15B9 Fuel Pump From The Particle Filter
Blowing Fuse17 which causes the limp mode
Took it to a garage where they tried all they could and because no melted wires could be found they said it’s a faulty fusebox so being in Andorra everything takes a long time to arrive.
I flew back to the UK with my family and bought a fuse box, a heating element, dpf sensor and flew back yesterday to get them fitted.
All was fitted but the dame issue is happening and i’m a but desperate now as I just flew back with all these parts, van not go back to work, i’m over 800 miles from home and to take the van home with a trailer will cost me in the thousands. Please help with advices, experienced, fixes, pictures anything really.
I’m desperate.

Thank you in advance!

Where did you get the fusebox from? Are you sure it's exactly the same one?

Fuseboxes generally don't need coding in but some do and maybe this is one that does.

Even a temporary electrical solution or fix that can avoid getting the fuse blown and get me back on the road to drive it back to the uk where it can be looked at in more depth

I bought two. One from ebay and collected it from their store where they confirmed that it’s the right one and one used one from breakers and the same issue with both.

If it is in limp mode can it still drive or is it not running at all ? If still running what is stopping you driving it home ? If you have breakdown cover will that get the vehicle back ?

It is in limp mode and only goes up to 1800revs at 10-15mph
It’s impossible to drive it uphill because of the above and to get out of Andorra you need to drive through the Pyrenees mountains very steep and lots of curbs.
I do have brake-down cover but when we broke down in the middle of the night i had no mobile service so we drove back to the nearest town where we stopped in front of a garage to het it checked in the morning and because we reported it to Rac more then 24 hours later and we moved the car from where it broke down they are refusing any help.

I think you need to be more demanding of the RAC, press them to help.

Anyone got a wiring diagram for F17 or know what it feeds? I've had a quick look online but I couldn't find anything.
If I have a diagram in front of me I should be able to suggest what to unplug to find the short.

Is this thread of any help? They may not have found an answer but there's some possibly helpful information there.

It's in Polish but an English version is available.

I may be able to find some wiring diagrams, but would need the chassis number and the exact type of engine fitted, is it a Ford Puma?
