Hi.
I have a 2015 1.6hdi with the robotised manual gear change.
It has been going into partial limp mode occasionally over the last year, it doesn't show any codes on the Peugeot diagnostics and clears for weeks before going into limp mode again.
Now whenever you start it up, after 30 second's it throws a engine fault message up and goes into limp mode and you loose the auto gear change.
You can still change gear with the paddles and have some limited boost performance, gear change and performance is as usual up untill it comes up with the fault code.
After trying a few things, new maf sensor etc, I started stripping things down and came across what must be the problem, a snapped cable with no plug attached, I cannot see anywhere obvious that the cable should go to.
I have included pictures below, hopefully someone could help me in locating where the cable should be attached to, before I have to start stripping everything out to see if I can find out where it goes.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the long rambling post.

Hi and Welcome
When you attach pictures to your posts they are listed in the attachments box as you probably saw. If you put your cursor where you want the pictures and click on 'place inline' beside each picture they will be included in your post. I have done it for you on this post.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Peugeot 5008 1.6 hdi limp mode
It looks like I am going to have quite a bit of stripping to find out where it goes, battery, housing etc, it goes around the back of the engine/gearbox and looks much the same as the actuator wiring.
I cannot see any other split wiring or plug missing a cable in the general area that the end of the cable is.

If the engine light is on there should be a fault recorded...
Is it a BlueHDi version, or just a Euro 5?

I've had it to two different garages and they say there were no faults recorded which I couldn't understand as it was going into limp mode, only thing recorded was the tps on the right rear, it will be a Euro 5 I think.

You need to make the video public!

Had a look on mine, but it's manual and I can't see an equivalent cable in that location.

Thanks for looking
I checked YouTube and it was showing as public, so I've redone it to be sure.
