C3 Picasso, 2009 rear door handle unlocks locked cat

Unread post by andybaz »

Hi all, yep confusing. If we pull the rear door handle .. the car fully unlocks.

1.lock car, move key away.
2. 3 doors locked.
3. Go to 4th door, pull the handle - door opens and all the other locked doors open, no key blade or remote used.

On the hunt for a wiring circuit now for rear doors, or have to strip down the good door to compare wiring supply & earths etc. & compare to the faulty door.

Any thoughts welcomed, cheers andy.

Is this keyless entry with you saying move key away ? Which is the 4th door - front, rear, left, right, or a random one ? If always the same door what happens if you close its latch around a screwdriver with the door open ?

Hi, not keyless, car locked, as soon as i pperate rear side door handle, it unlocks all doors, no facility inside to manually lock door & disconnect motor etc.

Lock is sending signal to unlock, so could be a issue with supply voltages etc to lock.
Screw driver, close lock, press unlock/lock - door lock not do anything.

Problem either failed door lock or supply voltage, hence need to sort what voltage/supplies i should get at connector, when i know which pins lock lick, will add power to see if actually locks etc.

Window works fine, will inspect door rubber boot flex for broken wires, currently looking to strip opp door to see pin for supply & compare etc, aswell continue looking for wiring diagram for rear doors, hoping fault is not in bsi, will get a plug in live data check to see if any live data for locks available.

Cheers for your input 🙂
